About This Site

This website was created and is maintained by Kelly Kilts. Kelly has been teaching at the high school level for 14 years, with 12 of those years spent teaching at a public school in Massachusetts and two years spent teaching at public high schools in Japan.

Kelly earned her bachelor's degree in Physics with a minor in Astronomy from MIT, has a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Physics from Bridgewater State University, and is currently working on a Doctorate in Education at Northeastern University.

All science standards listed here (including the Nature of Science standards, Performance Expectations, Disciplinary Core Ideas, Science and Engineering Practices, and Crosscutting Concepts) were written as part of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The author of this site does not claim ownership over any of the standards on this site.
